Personal Profile
I am currently working at SUNCAT under the Department of Chemical Engineering, Stanford University, and SLAC as a Postdoctoral Fellow (November 2020 - Present). My current research focus consists of the computational design of highly active, stable, low-cost heterogeneous catalysts for various electrochemical conversion reactions e.g., HER, ORR, OER, CO2RR, NO3RR etc.

Stanford University, CA, USA
I am currently working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at SUNCAT, Stanford University, and SLAC. My current research focus includes computational design of heterogenous catalysts for various energy conversion applications.
2016-2020
The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong
I graduated from the department of chemical and biological engineering at HKUST, Hong Kong. I worked with Professor Zhengtang Luo (Tom) during my Ph.D. My thesis title is "DFT Study for Electrochemical Reactions on Graphene/2D Material-Derived Single-Atom Catalysts".
2018-2019
California Institute of Technology, CA, USA
I worked with Professor William A. Goddard (III) at Materials Simulation Center, Caltech as Visiting student during my Ph.D. I worked on the development of Grand Canonical Potential Kinetics (GCP-K) for hydrogen evolution and CO2 reduction reactions. I also worked on the graphitization process of amorphous carbon via LAMMPS calculations.
